The following security measures are in place for Cirque du Soleil - these are in addition to FlyDSA Arena’s standard procedures which can be viewed here

Please ensure you read this information & arrive as close to the doors open time as you can to help this process run as efficiently as possible.

• Customers may be searched before they are allowed access to the venue.
• Small bags only - nothing larger than A4 size please – all bags will be searched & this will slow down entry to the venue.
• Please keep the number of personal belongings you bring with you to an absolute minimum - any items you bring to an event will be subject to additional searches and slow your entry to the venue & may, in some cases, prevent your entry.
• There will be no access to the venue car parks until 3pm on Wednesday-Friday and 1hour before the doors open time of the performance you are attending on Saturday & Sunday  and then not without a valid car parking ticket or permit. 
• Anyone arranging to drop-off, meet or pick-up someone from an event must do so away from the venue and the car parks.

OVO has a strict NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEO/AUDIO RECORDING policy. Camera flashes can be extremely dangerous, potentially blinding hazard for aerial artists.  The show will not tolerate any disregard of this policy.

Cirque du Soleil OVO at the FlyDSA Arena with 7 performances from Wednesday 22nd - Sunday 26th August 2018 in the venue's intimate theatre style Steel Hall setting.

Cirque du Soleil is delighted to announce a brand-new UK arena tour with OVO. Next summer OVO, a celebration of nature and co-existence will bring its fun-filled production for the whole family to arenas around the country. Making its UK debut in London in January, the arena tour will then play 7 performances in Sheffield at the FlyDSA Arena 22nd – 26th August 2018.

The cast of OVO is comprised of 50 performing artists from 17 countries specializing in many acrobatic acts. This includes Alanna Baker from the United Kingdom who plays the role of the Black Spider in the show. She was crowned gymnastics European Champion in 2011 and won Bronze in the World Championships in 2012. Alanna, who has been training since she was five years old has travelled around the world with OVO to countries as far reaching as Japan and Australia and is now set for a return to her home here in the UK.

Having thrilled more than 5 million people worldwide since the show premiered in Montreal in 2009 as a Big Top show, OVO embarks on a journey, offering the same captivating production as the Big Top performances, but on a larger scale now, visiting major arenas and venues, including those around the UK.

OVO, meaning “egg” in Portuguese, is a headlong rush into a colourful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement. When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives. It is love at first sight when a gawky, quirky insect arrives in this bustling community and a fabulous ladybug catches his eye – and the feeling is mutual.

Tickets for the 7 FlyDSA Arena performance of Cirque Du Soleil presents OVO are priced Adult tickets £45.80 - £73.80 & Children 12 and under priced £34.60 - £62.60 (including booking fee) and go on general sale 9am on Friday 15th December.

Under 2s can sit on parents knee and do not require a ticket for this show however, Cirque Du Soleil do not advise customers to bring children under 2 to their shows due to the requirement for silence form the audience during specific points of the show.

Arena Club Experience For Cirque du Soleil presents OVO

The Arena Club experience for this show is on Saturday 25th August 8pm performance only. Priced £151 per person adults & £141 12 & under and includes your ticket to the show with a seat in a prime location, a delicious pre-show menu as well as use of our private bar and cloakroom.

One of the venue's best kept secrets, the Arena Club is an exclusive restaurant & bar which offers the opportunity to enjoy fine dining before taking up some of the best seats in the auditorium for the concert of your choice.

When tickets go on general sale they will be available via the booking hotline on 0114 256 56 56, through this website or for in person ticket sale from Sheffield City Hall, Barkers Pool, Sheffield, S1 2JA  - click here for Sheffield City Hall opening times. .

From 1st August the Arena box office will be open to personal callers only when we are hosting an event. Always check with the Box Office on 0114 256 56 56 before you travel to ensure you have the most up to date opening time information.

Unless stated tickets purchased in person from the Arena or City Hall Box Offices, online or through the ticket hotline are subject to a 12% booking fee - more detailed booking fee information can be found in the general booking information section - click here and dependent upon the delivery method chosen there may be a fulfillment fee for your order - further information on our fulfillment fees available here.

When making a booking please use only the card holders details to create the order, tickets can be posted only to the cardholder's address and collections made only by the cardholder on production of the card used and confirmation email.

All pre-booked tickets that are collected from the Arena or City Hall Box Offices can only be collected by the credit card holder who must sign for the tickets and present the card with which they have ordered the tickets.

If you receive an error code reading AVS error this is due to the fact that the address you have entered does not match that of your payment card. Please note that our ticketing system will only authorise debit / credit cards if the full name and address details match where the card is registered. Therefore we will need the full name and address of the card holder if this is not correct the card will decline and we will not be able to process a sale. This may result in your account being ‘tagged’ for that amount, this is not a charge and will be removed by your bank within 3 to 7 days.

Please be aware that the floor seating area is flat and not raked if customers seated infront of you are taller than you when seated or they chose to stand then this can cause viewing restrictions - if you anticipate this may be an issue please book tickets in the tiered seating areas and not on the floor.

Car Parking Information for Cirque du Soleil presents OVO:

You have guaranteed your event ticket so make sure you guarantee your on-site parking space.

Parking spaces in the on-site Arena Car Parks can be booked in advance either online, in person from the Box Office or by phone on 0114 256 56 56.

Car parking tickets are priced at £10 (subject to availability).

From ten days prior to an event advanced car parking tickets will only be available online if you can print your tickets at home or in person from the venue box office - further info on print at home tickets available here.

Tickets may be subject to a fulfilment fee if not purchased with your event ticket & dependent upon the delivery method selected - further information on fulfilment fees available here.

If available parking tickets may still be purchased on the day on entry to the car park, but we would strongly advise advanced booking.

When booking your parking the time displayed next to the show date refers to the performance time of the show you are attending. You can access the car park from 3pm on the day of the show.
