In this booking information section you will find information on the opening hours of the venue box office, the payment methods we accept and the relevant booking & fulfillment fees charged for payment by each method.
In addition, you will find details of how to book concessionary tickets, what to do if you have lost your tickets, as well as the venue queuing policy in person at the Arena Box Office for on-sales.

The ticket price displayed on this web shows the price you will pay inclusive of the face value of the ticket and the booking fee, which is 12% unless otherwise stated. You then select your delivery method and any relevant costs for this fulfilment are added to give you a total cost of purchasing your tickets with us.
For example, if the price of the ticket is £40 and the per ticket booking fee is £4.80, the ticket will be advertised at £44.80.

All online bookings will require you to complete 3-D Secure this is your own banks additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. It was developed by Visa with the intention of improving the security of Internet payments and is offered to customers under the name Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode depending on your card type. If you are booking your tickets online follow these steps:
You can buy tickets online by clicking on the "BUY TICKETS" button on the relevant event page.
Once you click on this button you are entering the online ticket system where you will be required to enter your username and password (which may be different to your arena mailing list details as this is a separate service).
If you haven't booked online with us before then you will need to create a new account - as a tip to make it easier next time why don't you use your email address as your username and use the same password as you have when you joined the Arena web site mailing list.
We also advise setting up an account in advance on big on sales as this will save you time when booking as the system can be very busy at the time of an on sale. You can even enter & save your card details in advance to further speed up the booking process - you can then either select the pre-entered debit/credit card details then when you go back into your account or you can enter a new/different card. If you have previously booked online you will need to enter your username and password.
If you have forgotten your password you can click on the forgotten password link where you will be emailed a reminder.
If you have forgotten your username as well you will need to call the box office internet help line and have this reset - call 0870 1213676.
Online bookings are available until 2 hours prior to the start time of the event, after this time if tickets are still available, bookings will only available in person at the venue - please call the box office 0114 256 56 56 to check availability before you travel.
The Box Office is located at Entrance C on the ground floor and has a purpose built low level counter. A hearing assistance system is installed on box office counters marked with the international symbol of deafness or hard of hearing for customers with hearing difficulties. There is ample parking outside the entrance, including disabled parking spaces.
The Box Office is open to personal callers at the Arena from Monday to Saturday between 9am and 6pm.
On the day of a show on sale the box office usually opens at 9am, please check the specific show for exact details.
Box Office is open on Sundays only when an event is taking place, either during the opening hours of the event or if the show is on at night from midday until half an hour after the advertised start time of the event.
Always check with the Box Office on 0114 256 56 56 before you travel to ensure you have the most up to date opening time information.
Please read the venue's security procedures that restricts the access to the venue, car parks & box office on event days.
All tickets purchased in person from the Arena Box Office for shows at the Arena are subject to a 5% booking fee - the same charges apply to all payment methods, cash, card & cheque. Further booking information can be found in the booking information section of this website.
When some shows go on sale they can have a policy that no tickets are sold in person from the box office counters at the venue. This will be requirement of the venue getting the show and something that we must adhere to - please always check the relevant show booking information on this web site, our social media pages, or call the box office on 0114 256 56 56 before coming down to the venue to book show tickets - we would hate for you to have had a wasted journey.
Our in person venue queuing policy is that on the day a show goes on sale we allow customers to queue up to purchase tickets in person from the Arena Box Office, but only on the day that the show goes on sale.
People queuing before this will be asked to return on the day that the show goes on sale. We will exercise our right not to serve anyone who refuses to comply with this policy.
This policy was introduced following incidents that have happened whilst customers queued outside the Arena to buy tickets. We owe a duty of care to anyone who decides to queue on our land and it was clear after investigations that we were not in a position to fulfill this obligation for customers who were often queuing for several days and some cases weeks at a time.
We were unable to provide staff to monitor the queue and ensure safety; the area isn't suitable for people camping out exposed to the elements; we often have events in the Arena that require clear entrance / exit through the area where the queues have formed; we have no services available such as toilet and wash facilities.
We are fully aware that for some fans queuing to buy tickets is part of the fan experience. We are not trying to prevent this, but simply place manageable parameters to enable customers to be able to purchase tickets safely.

Please enclose a covering letter stating the show and date you wish to book for, giving alternatives where possible. All postal sales are subject to a booking fee (contact the box office for details).
Tickets cannot be reserved and postal bookings sent in advance of a show on sale will only be processed with the best available tickets after the customers who have queued at the venue and on the telephones have been processed.
We will only accept cheque payment if the event you are purchasing tickets for is at least 28 days away. Tickets will be posted out to the cheque holder's address approximately 4 weeks after the booking has been processed.

Our box office telephone number of 0114 256 56 56 is classed as a standard local call rate phone number. The cost of calling the Arena Box Office ticket hotline depends on your phone provider and whether you use a land-line or mobile to make the call and your call package.

Card bookings through the ticket hotline for shows at the FlyDSA Arena unless stated are subject to a 12% booking fee, with minimum charge of 50p per ticket. During an on sale the telephone lines will be very busy - when high volumes of calls are being experienced you may be held in a queue or receive and engaged tone - all phone lines will be open and at times of a big on sale the phone line exchange will manage the quantity of calls coming into the exchange to prevent it from crashing so please be patient or book online or in person at the venue.
The booking fee is the charge made by the Arena for booking tickets through our Box Office.
The event promoter keeps the ticket money and this is why booking fees are highlighted as separate charges and not built into the ticket price. The venue does not set or keep the ticket price, this is set by the promoters of the event who have hired the venue to host their show.
FlyDSA Arena is part of a not-for-profit organisation, Sheffield City Trust. Any money generated from ticketing and hosting events are reinvested into the Trust’s venues and activities. The charges we make are there to cover the costs of our ticketing service, for example the costs of the ticketing software, call centre and our colleagues.
Unless stated tickets purchased online or through the ticket hotline are subject to a 12% booking fee and all tickets purchased in person from the Arena box office are subject to a 5% booking fee.

The ASA (Advertising Standards Agency ) have recently made it very clear via their CAP (Committee of Advertising Practices) compliance arm that any and all fees must be advertised and otherwise made clear to the customer up front. A full explanation of this is available here.

Our ticket fulfillment options are detailed below along with the relevant charges. Wherever possible we will make all options available but there may be some shows that don’t have all fulfilment options available and these will be displayed at the time of booking.
Print At Home – there is no charge if you decide to print off your own tickets. Please ensure that you have the relevant equipment to be able to print your own tickets. If you are unable to print your tickets after selecting this option you will be charged the full fulfilment fee. Further info on how to Print At Home available here.
Post – tickets will be posted second class to the address of the credit card holder at a cost of £2 per order. The date of posting will vary from show to show, with further information available in the booking information section of the event you are booking for.
Collection from Box Office – the cost of collecting your tickets from the Arena Box Office is £1 per order. Please ensure that the card used to book the tickets is presented by the card holder when collecting tickets, further information available here.
Tickets booked through the Arena Box Office are usually available for collection from the Arena Box Office at Entrance C 48 hours after your booking has been made, but this will change if tickets are souvenir or you book 7 days before the event. To find out whether the event you have purchased tickets for will have souvenir tickets please visit the events page on our website, which will state this in the event/booking text. A fulfillment fee of £1 per order is charged at the time of booking for this service - a full breakdown of fulfillment fee charges available here.
Sometimes these tickets are referred to as COBO, which simply means tickets have been left Care Of Box Office.
All pre-booked tickets purchased through the Arena Box Office that are collected from the FlyDSA Arena can only be collected by the credit card holder who must sign for the tickets and present the card with which they have ordered the tickets.
You can collect your tickets from Entrance C Box Office which remains open until the main artiste is due on stage. Should the location of the box office change on the day stewards will direct you to the alternative box office.
If you have purchased tickets through another ticket agent you will need to check with them regarding their collection procedure as they often are only on site on the day of the show only and usually just before the doors open time.

Mastercard, Visa and Switch Cards are all accepted, we do not accept American Express, Electron, Apple Pay or Paypal.
Credit/Debit Card bookings through the ticket hotline or online for shows at the Sheffield Arena are subject to a 12% booking fee, with minimum charge of 50p a ticket.
Credit/Debit Card bookings made in person at the venue Box Office for FlyDSA Arena shows are subject to a 5% booking fee.
Tickets purchased in person from the Arena Box Office by cash will be subject to a 5% booking fee - the same charge made for all other payment methods in person at the Box Office.
We will only accept cheque payment if the event you are purchasing tickets for is at least 28 days away. Tickets will be posted out to the cheque holder's address approximately 4 weeks after the booking has been processed. A fee of 5% will be charged for payment by cheque in person or 12% by post for all events held here at the Arena.
Our food & drink outlets accept cash & debit/credit cards through contactless and chip & pin payment machines. If merchandise is being sold on a show then the stands also accept cash debit/credit card. There is also a cash machine located in the venue on Green Concourse charges of £1.50 per transaction apply to cash withdrawls.
We constantly review the different payment methods that we take at the Arena as costs and technology may mean that new methods become available or become more cost effective. At present we have taken the business decision to not take American Express, Electron or Paypal.
Please be careful with your tickets as it may not always be possible to issue duplicate tickets.
Should you lose your tickets please contact the box office immediately, either email [email protected] or call 0114 256 56 56 or write to FlyDSA Arena Box Office, Broughton Lane, Sheffield S9 2DF. Remember to state the name and address under which the tickets were booked and if known the seat numbers.
If tickets are lost then we should be able to organise duplicates - duplicate tickets will only be issued prior to entry to the performance - these tickets are never issued in advance as they override all other tickets previously issued.
Please be aware there may be a cost for the printing of duplicate tickets.
1 YOUR OBLIGATIONS

Conditions of sale on every ticket
The information below is printed on the reverse of every ticket issued and is given to you before you enter the building, upon entering the building you are agreeing to comply with these conditions.
Tickets are issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event shown on the face and is subject to the Terms & Conditions Below:
•The Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the Management.
•We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in the materially altered or cancelled performance/event. This does not affect your statutory rights.
•This ticket must not be sold or resold without express written permission from the Promoter of the event.
•Any complaints about a ticket holder's ability to view the event shall be made to the Promoter/Manager promptly prior to or during the event.
•Latecomers will only be admitted to the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance and at the discretion of management.
•The Event promoter reserves the right to amend or make alteration to the published details of the event as shall become necessary.
•Neither the promoter nor the Venue Management shall be responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the Venue, unless caused by the negligence of the Promoter or the Venue Management.
•The unauthorised use of cameras, video or any other form of recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
•Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the Venue.
